Introducing...

{Logo art by the lovely and talented Megan Lazaros}

As previously mentioned here, I've always had a teeny, tiny and seemingly unrealistic dream of opening my own bakery.  Clouds of flour in the air, smells of warm cake baked with loads of butter and melted chocolate dripping from wooden spoons.  A girl can dream, right?  Well, life always has a way of surprising us because I will be selling homemade baked goods at two local Minneapolis farmers markets this summer.  On certain weekends, I will have a booth at the Kingfield Farmers Market and on the other weekends I'll be selling at the new Fulton Farmers Market (see dates below).  If you're in the area, please stop by and say hello.  To be honest, I'm feeling quite horrified, nervous and anxious but, most of all, I'm completely elated at the idea of waking up insanely early one weekend day a week and churning out all of my favorite recipes.  It's gonna be hard work, no doubt about it, but I just know it will be the best summer ever.  How did I get so lucky?

Kingfield Farmers Market (Sundays 8:30am - 1pm):  5/22, 5/29, 6/5, 6/19, 6/26, 7/3, 7/17, 7/24, 7/31, 8/21, 10/2, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30

Fulton Farmers Market (Saturdays 8:30am - 1pm):  6/11, 7/9, 7/16, 8/6, 8/13, 8/27, 9/3, 9/10, 9/24, 10/8

  2. Hi. You have the DAYS wrong above. The Fulton market is SATURDAY and the Kingfield market is SUNDAY. 5/22, 5/29 etc are SUNDAYS, so I think the dates are correct - just the DAYS.

    Good luck. It will be worth the risk - big things always are.

  7. I realize with the recent article in the Star Trib about your brownies that people are probably clamoring to get their hands on some. I am new to your blog and yesterday I was exploring some past blogs and found your post about the brownies and the recipe. I was so excited to try them I bought all the ingredients I needed last night with the intention of making them today. But now the brownie blog post is gone :( and I am left with all the ingredients but no recipe. Is there any way to get your recipe? Please and thank you!

  8. Michaela,

    I'm so sorry! I decided to delete that post because I've tweaked and re-tweaked the recipe so much since that blog post. I didn't want people to have a recipe that wasn't the same as what I'm selling at the market. Shoot me an email and we can discuss further. I would hate for your ingredients to go to waste!

    Thanks,
    Anne

  11. Tried your salted caramel brownies for the first time this weekend, hands down the best brownie I've ever had! Thank you!

  12. Saw the beautiful array of baked goods this morning at Kingfield market. I never, ever allow myself to indulge in donuts, however I knew yours would be worth it. Yumilicious is all I have to say. Thank you for knowing that smaller is better. Those giganto baked goods I see everywhere do not appeal to me. The visual presentation and the delicate flavors where wonderful to experience. Good luck!

  15. I was at the Kingsfield Farmers Market this morning and really enjoyed the Nutella Brioche doughnut. My only disappointment was that I didn't buy two! :-)
